Echoes of Vienna offers daily instrumental lessons with renowned Viennese music professors, as well as psychological training and workshops in instrument making. The program is complemented by leisure activities, museum visits, a tour of Vienna, and a weekend trip to Salzburg. A final concert performed before a Viennese audience, certified by leading music universities, completes the experience. High-quality accommodation, language courses, leisure activities, as well as comprehensive support and insurance make this program a unique cultural and musical experience.

Participants must have advanced proficiency in a musical instrument, which is verified through an application video. The program is designed for 12- to 18-year-olds, and proof of language skills is also required.

The program lasts for 4 weeks, runs throughout the entire month of August, and culminates in a final concert at the end of the month.

The lessons are led by the Musikakademie Währing, whose professors also teach at renowned music academies in Vienna.

Während des gesamten Programms werden die Teilnehmer/innen von erfahrenen Koordinator/innen betreut, die sie bei der Ankunft abholen und während ihres Aufenthalts vor Ort unterstützen. Zu jeder Zeit stehen Betreuer zur Verfügung, um bei Fragen oder Anliegen zu helfen, und sorgen für eine sichere und angenehme Erfahrung. Zusätzlich erhalten die Teilnehmer eine ausgewogene Verpflegung und leben in einer komfortablen Unterkunft mit Einzelzimmern.

Our exchange program offers various destination countries, including a stay with a verified host family, where participants have a host sibling of the same age and school level. During their stay, participants attend a renowned local educational institution. In addition to daily language exercises, weekend trips, tours, cultural experiences, and leisure activities are offered. Experienced coordinators accompany the outbound and return flights and are available throughout the entire stay in the destination country for support and advice.

Participation requires an age between 12 and 18 years as well as proof of language skills.

 
 

The duration and timing of the program vary depending on the destination country and range between 3 and 6 weeks.

Austria: November - December (6 weeks)
Germany: November - December (6 weeks)
Argentina: August (3 weeks)
Guatemala: July (3 weeks)
Colombia: August (3 weeks)

The selection of families for our exchange program is carried out carefully based on strict criteria. Host families must complete a detailed questionnaire, participate in virtual interviews, and provide comprehensive information about their daily life, living conditions, and suitability for the program. Only families that meet all requirements are considered as potential participants.

Depending on the destination country, participants take part in a guided tour through neighboring countries or visit landmarks and natural sites within the country. Additionally, weekend activities are offered by the respective host families to deepen the participants’ insight and experience.
