Exchange Program

Experience the world. Grow with it.

About the exchange program

Our student exchange programs are designed for meaningful cultural immersion during the participants’ summer holidays. Students live with carefully selected host families and attend school alongside their host siblings. All families and schools are thoroughly vetted, and participants receive individual preparation, including virtual meetings, screenings, and cultural orientation sessions.

We focus on exchange between Latin American countries (Argentina, Guatemala, Paraguay, El Salvador, Colombia) and the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), where school holidays differ. Many host schools in Latin America introduce students to German early on.

Each program includes:

  • A detailed application and matching process

  • A pre-arrival 5-day guided tour with cultural and recreational activities

  • Full travel arrangements (flights, domestic transport, and coordinator support)

  • On-site coordinators for the entire stay

  • Participation in local schools (without grades, but with full engagement)

  • Comprehensive insurance coverage

  • Host family stipends and personal pocket money for students

  • Mid-program family and school visits by our directors to ensure well-being and program quality

We prioritize every participant’s safety, education, and personal growth, ensuring a supportive and enriching experience for all involved.

Arrival and Stay:

Participants travel to their destination country during summer vacation and stay with carefully selected host families. These families share everyday life with their guests and attend school together. Both host families and schools are rigorously vetted, and participants are accompanied by a dedicated on-site coordinator, who is available throughout the program to ensure the well-being of all students. Transportation, including flights and tickets, is fully organized by us.

Courses and Activities:

At the beginning of the program, a tour with the coordinator introduces participants to key sights and leisure activities. Afterwards, they attend a local school, where the focus is on cultural exchange rather than grades or academic evaluation.Participants are covered by accident, health, and liability insurance throughout the trip and receive pocket money for personal expenses. In the course of the program, directors visit the host families and schools to check in on the participants’ well-being and foster exchange.
