Hosting Program

Open your home. Enrich your world

Becoming a Host for an exchange student

Hosting an exchange student is a rewarding opportunity to share your culture, open your home, and create meaningful international connections. Our hosting program invites families from the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) to welcome a student from Latin America (Argentina, Guatemala, Paraguay, El Salvador, or Colombia) into their home for a few weeks during their own school holidays.

As a host family, you’ll be carefully matched with a student based on detailed profiles, interests, and living preferences. Each participant is thoroughly screened and individually prepared before traveling. They will live with your family, share daily routines, and attend school alongside your child.

We provide:

  • A clear and respectful structure for household expectations

  • Comprehensive support from our local coordinators before, during, and after the program

  • A small stipend to help with daily expenses

  • A detailed orientation to prepare your family for the experience

  • Insurance coverage for the student throughout their stay

Hosting a student is not only about offering a place to stay — it’s about opening your world to a new culture, building friendships that can last a lifetime, and giving your family a chance to experience the world without leaving home.
